PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that Andy Cohen is starring in Nerds' Super Bowl commercial

On Jan. 27, the candy brand shared a teaser for the Super Bowl ad

Cohen told PEOPLE about his plans to watch the commercial at home so he can be with his kids when it airs

Andy Cohen is known for unearthing some sweet gossip on Bravo—and his Super Bowl spot with Nerds is no different.

The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host is the star of the candy brand’s Big Game commercial, PEOPLE can exclusively announce. And a 15-second teaser proves there is some drama that will unfold during the full commercial airing during the Feb. 8 game.

In the preview for the spot, the father of two is in the midst of a backyard party, surrounded by Nerds characters and blowing up a pool floatie when his phone rings. He happily answered the phone, saying, “Hey bud! No, it’s always a good time!”

The teaser cuts to Cohen dancing with party guests and Nerds when his phone goes off again. “Oo, sorry, it’s my Taste Bud. You got news?” he asked into the phone.

The title card reads, “Get your taste buds ready,” with the date of the Super Bowl as Cohen coos, “Oh that’s juicy!”

Nerds

For the executive producer of The Real Housewives franchise, working with Nerds on the Super Bowl spot was an easy choice.

“I only do things that are organic and that makes sense, and I've been eating Nerds since I was a little kid,” the 57-year-old told PEOPLE. “Being a part of a Super Bowl ad is like a ‘pinch me’ moment in a life of many ‘pinch me’ moments.”

Cohen joked that shooting the commercial “was nothing to complain about.” “Not only was it a huge production which you'll see from the spot, but also it was working with a brand that I love, and I got to eat Nerds all day. So I was just having a ball,” he said, adding that it was a more pleasant experience than last week’s The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City part two reunion episode. “On the Salt Lake City reunion, I walk off because I've just kind of had it. And I was bringing none of that energy to the Nerds shoot, I'll tell you that much.”

Cohen, who is the father to Ben, 6, and Lucy, 3, described his children' s excitement over his commercial.

“[Ben] can't believe I have a Super Bowl ad and he's been talking about this for months,” Cohen beamed, explaining that he throws a Super Bowl party every year that Ben looks forward to. “I was invited to the game, and I was like, there's no way that I can go to the game and not have this party and be with Ben when we watch the ad.”

Super Bowl LX will be held on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
