Beans is back!

Steven Anthony Lawrence, who played the quirky character Beans opposite Shia LaBeouf and Christy Carlson Romano in the turn-of-the-century sitcom *Even Stevens*, appeared on Wednesday's episode of trivia game show *The Floor *to compete for cash. The actor's appearance comes amid his recent claims he was wrongfully fired from Universal Studios Hollywood.

On *The Floor*, contestants stand on an LED-lit grid of squares. Players have different areas of trivia expertise and challenge each other in head-to-head in duels. As they win, contestants take over territory on the grid, with the one who gains full control over the Floor taking home $250,000.

In a clip shared by TV Insider, the former Disney Channel star looked confidant going up against fellow contestant Morgan in a "Renaissance Faire" category for the first duel of the game. Lawrence told host Rob Lowe he was ready to tackle some medieval-related questions as he's previously played an elf.

Before the two got down to business, Lawrence was asked by Lowe what his favorite role ever has been. Lawrence replied, "Definitely Beans from *Even Stevens,*" to which the audience responded with cheers and applause.

Lawrence and Morgan were first asked to name the "item, activity, or character" they would find at a Renaissance Faire, with images like a queen, knight, and archer appearing on the screen. While Lawrence beat Morgan in his first trivia category, he ultimately lost to another contestant named Anthony in a "Global News" category.

Along with *Even Stevens*, Lawrence's memorable roles include co-starring in Mike Myers' live-action 2003 adaptation of *The Cat in the Hat *and* *acting opposite fellow Disney Channel star Hilary Duff in the 2003 version of* Cheaper by the Dozen*.

Lawrence recently claimed he was fired from Universal Studios Hollywood theme park after "reporting a suspected pedofile [sic] around children."

In an Instagram post by the 35-year-old actor, which included a photo of his employee badge and a Toad costume for Super Nintendo World, he said that he "delayed posting this for about a month because I was hoping we could find some sort of amicable solution." Lawrence alleged that the person he accused along with a supervisor and human resources staffer sought "to retaliate" against him.

According to Lawrence, he had been working at the theme park as a member of the entertainment team.

A Universal Studios Hollywood spokesperson said in a statement provided to *EW*: "We have investigated and reviewed the concerns brought forward by this former employee and they were found to be inaccurate and without merit. We take all employee concerns seriously and have established processes for raising any concerns without fear of retaliation."

In the comments of Lawrence's posts, multiple respondents who claimed to be employees at the California theme park said the former child star was a "problematic and difficult" colleague. Still, others vocally supported Lawrence, with one commenter saying, "I'm proud of you!" and another urging Lawrence to "keep fighting."
