George Clooney and his wifeAmal‘s foundation reportedly excluded Brad Pitt from the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s annual Albies awards. The extravagant A-list event, founded by the couple in 2022, aims to honor global champions of human rights. The event will take place in London next month, and Pitt, who was a regular attendee for many years, has reportedly been left off the guest list. It is alleged that the Clooneys don’t want Pitt’s headline-making controversies to take away from the noble cause.

As per a new report by The Sun, George Clooney and his wife Amal’s foundation have seemingly omitted Brad Pitt from the Albies guest list. It is no secret that the two Hollywood megastars have shared a heartwarming friendship over the years. The Fight Club star was a regular at the Albies awards. However, it appears that this time his name is not featured on the guest list.
However, Pitt has been the subject of renewed media attention following allegations of abuse levied by his former wife, Angelina Jolie. Furthermore, the 62-year-old finds himself in the news after reports stated that his six children have taken legal steps to drop their father’s last name.

Moreover, in his August interview with Esquire, Pitt discussed his drinking. An insider dished to The Sun that the foundation allegedly doesn’t want these allegations to steal the spotlight from the important cause. Although the Moneyball star has categorically denied these allegations, the foundation reportedly realizes that the weight of these accusations could “overshadow” the event. Hence, the F1 star was reportedly left off the guest list.
The “Ocean’s” stars last reunited in 2024 for their action-comedy movie, Wolfs. Interestingly, this tidbit comes at a point when Pitt publicly lavished praise on his long-time friend Clooney recently. Laura Dern read a funny message from the Seven star during the opening night of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
As per PEOPLE, the message read: “Why do we love George Clooney? He’s a rogue, a prankster, an altruist, an actor, an athlete. The only guy you’d want in a crisis. A father, a husband, a global citizen, a defender of justice, and . . . a really bad dancer.”
