Danica Patrick has given fans an insight into her thoughts on Aaron Rodgers' latest comments.

The pair dated for more than two years while Rodgers was with the Green Bay Packers before splitting in 2020. Patrick later described their unexpected breakup as a devastating experience that consumed her life, while also detailing what she claimed was emotional abuse during the relationship.

"The breakup with Aaron in 2020 because it was sudden, it felt like it was my life," Patrick confessed. "So when you live with somebody, it's your whole life... and because the nature of the relationship was emotionally abusive, so that wore me down to nothing. Someone that you know, people could never imagine that I would lack any confidence or belief in the simple things about who I am."

Rodgers has never been shy about sharing his views on a wide range of topics, but he recently turned his attention to his personal life, publicly criticizing Patrick and another former girlfriend, Shailene Woodley.

"I dated two women [Danica Patrick and Shailene Woodley] whom nobody gives a f--- about unless they drop my name," Rodgers told Pittsburgh Steelers teammate Cam Heyward on the Not Just Football with Cam Heyward podcast. "And they like to tell their version of the history of what actually happened, making me out to be this monster of a partner. And it's just f------ horse----."

The Steelers star claims he was the one who ended the relationship after the former IndyCar and NASCAR driver asked whether he wanted to buy a house with her in Malibu. "I dated Danica, and she had just retired; she was depressed and not fun to be around, but I didn't leave her because I was trying to be there and be a good partner," Rodgers said.

"There was no intimacy; there was nothing. I'm buying a house in Malibu, and she goes, 'Well, do you want to buy it together?' And I said, 'No.' She said, 'Well, you know what that means then?' I said, 'Yeah, that's the way things are going.' She said, 'Well, let's get counseling.' So then we got counseling, and then what happened? Then COVID hit and we were stuck together.

"She tells a story that she was so blindsided and getting left by you, and that he leaves a trail of blood around him. And I'm like, what are you talking about? That's not what happened."

Patrick has appeared to carry on with her life without directly responding to Rodgers' latest comments. Rather than addressing the Steelers star's remarks on social media, the former racing driver has continued sharing glimpses of her day-to-day life.

The 44-year-old has also been keeping busy away from the controversy, spending time on the golf course, travelling and catching up with friends. Patrick regularly gives her followers an insight into her life away from the track through posts on social media.

Rodgers and Patrick have both moved on since their split. The veteran quarterback has since reunited with and married his wife, Brittani, after the pair first met in 2017. Patrick, meanwhile, has been dating a mystery boyfriend, whom she first began featuring on social media in late 2024.
