One of Dancing With the Stars' veterans isn't done showing off their moves.
On Tuesday's episode of SiriusXM's Three Questions with Andy Richter podcast, Emma Slater addressed rumors of her exiting the competition series, on which she's starred for more than a decade. Speaking with her season 34 partner Andy Richter, Slater said she has "had the most incredible" career since debuting on DWTS in 2013.
Slater shared how she was recently asked about the rumors, recounting, "I was like, 'What rumor?' They said, 'Are you retiring this year?' And I could see how a rumor like that would be starting, because they’re looking at me like, 'She’s the old girl.'"
The British dancer expressed that she has no plans to leave anytime soon, saying she wants to "go through it as long as I can go for."

She added that while there is concern over whether the choice would be hers to make, she plans to "keep going."

"I would like it to be on my decision, I think," Slater said of leaving DWTS. "But I've decided that I'm going to expect to be there, and if and when they say I'm not invited anymore, I'll conquer that when it happens."
Slater added that if and when she isn't able to dance on the series specifically, she'd be open to "some other form" of involvement. "The brand is doing so well, and I like to produce. So maybe I’ll be like, 'Make me a producer!' or something," she told Richter.
Noting she'd prefer to stay on the series "as long as I feel authentic and comfortable," Slater said when the time comes for her to go, she has her response ready. "And then as soon as I feel like I’m going to be choked out, I’ll pull the ageism thing. 'This is what Hollywood does to women as they age!'"

Slater and Richter formed a tight bond as partners, dancing to routines such as a "Puttin' on the Ritz" quickstep and a "Northern Attitude" foxtrot. For the series' "Dedication Night," the comedian and Slater danced to "Jump in the Line" for Richter's daughter, Cornelia.
Reflecting on what makes a successful duo on the dance competition, Slater said she "will embrace" her partners and "make my entire world about bringing them forward and making them feel amazing."
