Former NFL coach and NBC Sports analyst Tony Dungy has been named as one of 22 voters set to be removed from the Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committee after Bill Belichick's shocking snub earlier this year.
Belichick, 74, who is rumored to be plotting a shocking revenge plot with young girlfriend Jordan Hudson, was staggeringly snubbed by the committee back in January, failing to receive the 40 of 50 votes needed for induction in 2026 in his first year of eligibility, despite his standing as arguably the greatest NFL coach ever and an eight-time Super Bowl winner.
The following month, it emerged that Hall of Fame president Jim Porter was weighing changes to the voting process in the wake of Belichick's snub and had already outlined specific details of how the museum may select its inductees in the future, such as reducing the size of the voting panel. It comes after Terry Bradshaw snapped at his FOX NFL Sunday co-star after being humiliatingly corrected live on air.

That now certainly appears to be the case after Tennessee Titans reporter Paul Kuharsky published a list of 19 of the 22 names that the Hall of Fame has informed would no longer be part of the selection committee under its new bylaws this week.
Amongst them was Kuharsky himself, along with retired sportswriter John McClain, who recently revealed that he received a call from the Hall informing him he'd no longer be part of the selection committee after 33 years of service.
One of the standout names on the list, however, is Dungy, a Hall of Famer himself who has served as an at-large voter for six years, after being originally chosen to join the selection committee in August 2020 to fill the vacancy.

Dungy was officially inducted into the Class of 2016 after a highly successful 13-year career as an NFL head coach, during which he transformed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a historically struggling franchise, into a perennial playoff contender.

The 70-year-old also led the Indianapolis Colts to the playoffs in all seven of his seasons at the helm between 2002 and 2008, most notably guiding the team to victory in Super Bowl XLI, making him the first African American head coach to win the NFL's biggest prize.

According to Kuharsky, however, he will no longer get to decide who joins him in the Hall of Fame after being among the latest to fall victim to the museum's culling of its 50-member committee to just 28 - which comes after he controversially refused to confirm whether or not he voted for Belichick.
Dungy, however, is not the only high-profile casualty on the list; fellow Hall of Famer and former NFL executive Bill Polian, as well as ESPN reporter Lisa Salters, are also stripped of their voting rights.

Elsewhere, longtime Dallas Cowboys writer Rick Gosselin and Cleveland radio personality Tony Grossi, who both spent a remarkable 31 years on the selection committee, and Cleveland Browns reporter Mary Kay Cabot (11 years) have also been let go.
The remaining known names that are leaving their roles are Frank Cooney, Ron Borges, Darin Gantt, Clark Judge, Geoff Hobson, Jason Cole, Armando Salguero, Matt Maiocco, Joel Bussert, Paul Gutierrez, and Rich Cimini.
There are three Hall of Fame selectors who have been removed who have not yet been named.
It comes after a lip reader exposed what furious Taylor Swift cried out after being shown on the ESPN cameras again.
