Sean Lowe, a football-yielding heartthrob from McKinney, Texas quickly won over America as the "Virgin Bachelor" during season 17 of ABC's hit show, The Bachelor. And it just so happens he won over Catherine (Giudici) Lowe, as well. Catherine and Sean's courtship was closely followed by millions of at-home viewers, who were delighted when Catherine accepted Sean’s final rose on the season finale in 2013. Along with the rose, Catherine also accepted something else a bit more meaningful... a marriage proposal.
Their made-for-TV love story doesn’t end there — the couple went on to wed in a live televised wedding in 2014, and has since welcomed 3 children. To this day, the couple stands as the only successful relationship that has come from a final rose offering of the franchise, now in its 31st season of production. Sean marked the milestone as the couple celebrated their 12-year anniversary with a photo montage on his Instagram:

The 42-year-old former bachelor included, “12 years ago today, I married my best friend. Best decision I’ve ever made," in his caption. He went on to say, "She’s the most selfless, loving person I’ve ever met, and I thank God I get to be on the receiving end of all of it. And it’s a bonus that she occasionally lets me touch her," ending on a lighthearted note.
Included in the slide show are several photos from their live televised wedding on January 26, 2014, the first and only that exists in bachelor history. Other pictures include special early dating and married-life moments, followed with many snaps with their children, Samuel, 9, Isaiah, 7, and Mia, 6. Fans and followers took to the comments to wish the couple well.
"My favourite couple from any season Happy Anniversary to you both ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️," one fan said.
Another chimed in with, "Happy Anniversary! I have loved watching your love story from the very beginning! 🩵"
"I read the beginning and was like “aw wow this is so sweet he actually is being serious”That last line 😂😂😂," one took a minute to respond to Lowe's humor at the conclusion of his post.
Another shared their memory of the couple's nuptials, "I remember watching y'all's wedding on TV & throwing a little watch party because I am such a big fan of y'all !!🥹❤️."
Yet another shared that this is one of the few TV couples that have actually stood the test of time, "I’ve watched your love story unfold at first on TV - and now on social media 🎉 HAPPY ANNIVERSARY ❤️ One of the rare things the media got right."
Today, Sean and Catherine live in his native state of Texas, where they act as brand ambassadors for several companies, including Oui By Yoplait, More Fluff, and more. The pair has a large social media presence, frequently entertaining viewers with glimpses of their family shenanigans, such as viral dance challenges and epic silliness seen below:

The couple has also been open in sharing their difficult experiences as well. Last year, when Sean was attacked by the family dog in a traumatic and grueling situation they shared a vulnerable post detailing the event.
