Jane Seymour and Joe Lando reunite nearly 30 years after Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman in Harry Wild season 5

Seymour commemorated her and Lando's iconic TV couple with a throwback post marking their characters' 156th wedding anniversary

Seymour welcomed Lando and his family into her home after they lost their house in the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires

Jane Seymour and Joe Lando's chemistry remains as enchanting as ever nearly 30 years after the 1998 Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman finale.

The former costars are reunited in the season 5 trailer for Acorn TV's hit cozy mystery series Harry Wild. Seymour, 75, plays the titular retired professor turned amateur sleuth, who embarked on her unusual second act after being mugged in season 1. In the trailer, Harry meets Pierce Kennedy (Lando), who is described in a press release as "a charming and brilliant new state pathologist whose arrival quickly makes waves in Harry's world."

When she's told that she and her team will have to work with a state pathologist on their latest case, Harry says, "I'm picturing a fat little man who smells of formaldehyde." However, she quickly realizes just how wrong she is when she opens the door to find Pierce standing there.

"Thank you so much for agreeing to meet me," he says as Harry laughs awkwardly.

Per the season's official description, "As Harry, Fergus (Rohan Nedd) and Charlie (Kevin Ryan) are pulled into their most dangerous and complex cases to date, the team takes on undercover operations, chilling murders and relentless criminals… all with the help of Pierce whose sharp instincts and natural chemistry with Harry prove invaluable."

That natural chemistry will come as no surprise to anyone who tuned in to Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, where the slow burn romance between Seymour's Dr. Michaela "Mike" Quinn and Lando's Sully kept viewers tuning in for six seasons. The costars have remained friends over the years, and previously reunited for Lifetime's 2022 holiday film A Christmas Spark.

Their friendship has remained strong off-screen as well, with Seymour opening her home to Lando, 64, and his wife Kirsten Barlow after they lost their house in the devastating wildfires that swept through Los Angeles in 2025. At the time, the actress told TVLine, "My mother instilled in me from an early age that in times of great strife and struggle, reach out and help someone. Welcoming Joe and his family into our home while they try to make sense of the inexplicable is just what you do for family, and The Landos are our family.”

The stars' reunion in the Harry Wild trailer came at the perfect time as Seymour commemorated Sully and Mike's 156th wedding anniversary in a throwback post on Instagram just one day prior to the trailer's release on Wednesday, May 20. "Today marks 156 years since Michaela Quinn and Byron Sully said “I do.” 💍🥰," she captioned a carousel of photos featuring the characters on their wedding day.

"I don’t think any of us on set could have known at the time just how deeply their story would resonate for decades to come. There was so much heart in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and I think people still feel that. Somewhere, I suspect Sully is still waiting patiently while Michaela insists she’s right about something. 😉," she concluded, adding #bringbackdrquinn to the end of the post for good measure.

In addition to Lando, Nedd and Ryan, Harry Wild season 5 will also feature the return of Rose O’Neill, Samantha Mumba, Paul Tylak and Aoife Mulholland. The characters were last seen in a special feature-length episode that premiered in November 2025.

Harry Wild season 5 premieres Monday, June 22 on Acorn TV. Seasons 1-4 are streaming now.
