Right-wing podcaster Katie Miller is being mocked online after sharing a photograph from the makeup White House Correspondents' Dinner on Friday.
The annual gathering was rescheduled for Friday, July 24, at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Washington, D.C., about three months after the initial event spiraled into chaos after a gunman—identified as 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen—opened fire at the Washington Hilton Hotel after rushing past the security gate, forcing panicked attendees to duck for cover after hearing gunfire. Among them were Katie and Stephen Miller, deputy chief of staff of policy and homeland security advisor.
At the time, Katie was heavily pregnant with the couple's fourth child, and the husband came under fire for appearing to grab onto her awkwardly from behind in what critics dubbed a "human shield."

The wife vehemently denied the allegations. Speaking to Fox News's Laura Ingraham, she explained that her husband reached for her breast to avoid harming her pregnant belly.
"What everyone sees is my husband maybe copping a feel but what I would say is that he wasn't going to put his hands on my stomach because that's where our baby is and so he just moved his hand upward," she said, adding about the experience, "I look at Stephen and I was like 'Did you really need to do that?' and he's like 'What did I do?'".

She continued to explain, "My dear husband lifts me up and Brian, who's our detail, says to Stephen, 'She goes first,' and so I went first because the threat was behind us," before going on to defend her husband.
"They really can't let Stephen Miller have a good news cycle, you know he's done so much for this country thanks to President Trump, President Trump has been at the forefront of changing this country and fulfilling every single campaign promise," she said. "They could not give Stephen Miller a good news cycle if they tried."
Shortly after the first dinner in late April, Katie gave birth to their fourth child, Hawthorne Hayes Mille, on June 3.
The couple attended the rescheduled event and shared photographs of them alongside other White House couples. The mother of four shared the photograph on X, writing, "Take Two."
Some internet users appeared to hold a grudge over the previous awkward incident in response to her new post.
"Your husband didn’t use you as a human shield this time, impressive," one X user wrote.
A sassy second user said, "Hope you dressed appropriately in case your hubby used you as a human shield again."
"Hey at least your husband didn’t use you as a shield this time. Progress," a third X user joked.
