Louis Tomlinson had the Swifties on high alert with his latest project.
On Thursday, Jan. 22, the One Direction alum stopped by NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he opened up about accidentally getting Taylor Swift fans excited with Easter Eggs for his new album How Did I Get Here?, which was released on Friday, Jan. 23.
According to Tomlinson, 34, this record is one where he "felt really comfortable."
"I felt really comfortable making it, I really enjoyed the process,” he told host Jimmy Fallon. “I even enjoyed doing the promo, which is a new thing for me."

He then admitted that some of the promo for his latest album wasn't even on purpose.
Leading up to the LP's first single “Lemonade,” he provided fans with Easter eggs, which got Swifties in the mix.
“It’s good watching people scramble for that stuff,” said Tomlinson. “Another thing that was cool about it was Taylor Swift’s fans seemed to get a bit confused, thinking somehow it was related to her album. So, I got free promo.”

During the interview, Tomlinson also reflected on his time spent in One Direction.
“Every moment, every memory that I have with One Direction is incredibly special, obviously,” he said, adding that going solo after being in a boy band was "quite intimidating."
"It’s not for the faint hearted," noted Tomlinson.
In a Billboard cover story earlier this month, the "Lemonade" artist opened up about the "really f---ing scary" feeling of becoming a has-been at 24 as One Direction was winding down (and eventually split in 2015).
“That was really f---ing scary,” Tomlinson told the publication, adding: "I was never thinking, ‘I’ll be in that group [of One Direction alumni] that succeeds.’”
Tomlinson will head out on tour in support of his new album with the How Did We Get Here? world tour, which will kick off on March 23 at Barclays Arena in Hamburg, Germany, followed by a North America run that will begin on June 3 in Vancouver, Canada.
