According to the explanation, heavy traffic during school drop-offs and pickups repeatedly disrupted the Sussexes’ security convoy. The congestion reportedly separated members of the security team, leading their staff to conclude that they could not ensure the children’s daily commute was safe enough. The situation ultimately led the Sussexes to reconsider their school arrangements.

However, a source told Naughty But Nice that security was not the only factor behind the decision. The insider claimed the experience revealed a gap between what Harry and Meghan expected from the school and how the institution treated them.

“This wasn’t just about traffic — it was about treatment,” the source said.

According to the insider, Harry and Meghan expected the school to make certain arrangements because of their public profiles. However, the school reportedly treated them like other parents instead of giving them “VIP treatment” or making extra arrangements.

“Harry and Meghan expected accommodations because of who they are. The school treated them like parents, not visiting heads of state, and that became a problem,” Naughty But Nice’s source added.

Instead of receiving special treatment as high-profile figures, Harry and Meghan reportedly had to follow the same rules and routines as other parents at the school. For the Sussexes, the security concerns reportedly became the main reason they pulled Archie and Lilibet out of the school.
