Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly withdrew theirkids from their ritzy UK-based prep school for a specific reason. For those unversed, the Sussexes flew privately from California to Birmingham on August 26. The couple planned to stay in the UK for an extended period and even enrolled their children, Archie and Lilibet, in a UK-based school. However, shortly after joining the school, Harry and Meghan pulled their kids out of their new school, reportedly citing security concerns.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly pulled their kids out of their new UK-based school because they weren’t getting royal treatment. Sources attached to Rob Shuter revealed that the Sussexes withdrew their kids from their school because they expected VIP treatment.
As per their official statement, heavy traffic often separated the kids from their security, potentially putting their lives at risk. Their security teams revealed that they weren’t able to take enough measures to protect Archie and Lilibet. However, sources shared that this wasn’t just about the traffic but also the treatment.

According to an insider, Harry and Meghan expected the school to give them and their children special treatment because of their royal status. However, the school simply treated them like parents and not royals, and that seemingly did not go down well with the Sussexes.
Insiders also noted that other Royal Family members have dealt with similar school drop-off-related issues. The source shared that Kate Middleton has personally driven her kids to school and endured traffic like most parents. “Harry and Meghan don’t see themselves as ordinary private citizens. They still expect the machinery around them to move because they’re VIPs,” the insider said.
Furthermore, the source highlighted Harry and Meghan’s hypocrisy. They pointed out that the couple wants normalcy and to be treated like regular citizens, yet they don’t want to deal with traffic and WhatsApp groups like regular parents.
