Even royals can’t resist the allure of sundress season.
On Friday, Queen Letizia tapped into the trend while visiting the headquarters of Spanish fashion brand Adolfo Domínguez for the designer’s 50th anniversary. The Spanish monarch appropriately wore a piece culled from the house: a breezy midi dress featuring a geometric pastel pattern, with delicate ruching details accenting the V-shaped neckline and waist. She completed the look with a tan leather handbag, also by Adolfo Domínguez, as well as embossed leather slingback sandals from Massimo Dutti and a pair of diamond-studded gold earrings from Gold and Roses.

The royal has showed off her chic summer style with a string of appearances over the past few weeks. Most recently, Letizia met with university students at Madrid’s Zarzuela Palace, where she wore a sleeveless black maxi dress with tiers of wavy white embroidery along the chest and skirt. She accessorized the statement piece with a pair of espadrille wedges.
Earlier this month, Letizia once again wore Adolfo Domínguez while attending the World Cup final match between Argentina and Spain in New Jersey with her family—King Felipe VI and daughters Leonor, Princess of Asturias, and Infanta Sofía. The royal family color coordinated to represent the colors of the Spanish flag. For her part, Letizia looked elegant in a structured red midi dress with cape sleeves by Adolfo Domínguez. Meanwhile, Leonor wore red pants with a white blouse featuring asymmetrical details, and Sofía wore a red collarless button-up tucked into tan slacks. As for the king, Felipe wore a navy suit with a bright red tie.
