The couple, who married in October 2025, announced Weaver's pregnancy in January with a beachside photo shoot

Colletti praised Weaver's strength during pregnancy and expressed excitement about starting this new chapter together

Stephen Colletti has entered a new era.

The Laguna Beach alum, 40, is now officially a father, as seen in a joint Instagram announcement with his wife, NASCAR reporter Alex Weaver, 32.

The couple, who announced their marriage in Oct. 2025, shared a black-and-white photo of their newborn grabbing onto Weaver's finger.

"Rhodes August Colletti 🤍," the proud parents captioned the post.

Colletti commented on the post, "👶🏻👸🏼😊."

While catching up with PEOPLE at The Reunion: Laguna Beach red carpet premiere in March, Colletti said he was excited about becoming a father.

“It sounds crazy, but I'm ready for my life to be put upside down in that way,” said the actor. “I've been watching my wife take on pregnancy and she's been such a superhero, such a badass.”

“I honestly thought it was going to be very overwhelming," the One Tree Hillalum continued. "And it is, but she's taking it in stride. And I'm like, damn, what a badass bitch. Excuse me. But she is.”

Colletti said it was "very cool" to see Weaver settling into motherhood.

"And this next chapter, I feel so fortunate it's about to happen," he said. "And then we're going to be experiencing it together. And I know we're going to have a lot, a lot to learn."

The couple first announced in January that they were expecting a child together in a joint Instagram post.

The post, captioned "Mom & Dad 🤍," included a set of black-and-white snaps of Colletti and Weaver at the beach, with Weaver showing off her baby bump.

The parents got engaged in 2023 after two years of dating. They went Instagram official with their relationship in August 2022.
