Authorities have announced the cause of death of *Storage Wars* star Darrell Sheets.

The Mohave County Medical Examiner's Office in Arizona has ruled Sheets' death as a suicide, TMZ reports. Sheets died April 22 at age 67.

Authorities found Sheets at a Lake Havasu City, Ariz., residence from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Sheets appeared across the first 15 seasons of A&E's competition show, often alongside his son Brandon, as an avid buyer. He earned the nickname "The Gambler" and was known for his catchphrase, "This is the WOW factor!"

The show follows professional buyers who bid on storage lockers up for auction, attempting to nab the most lucrative and valuable items hidden within. Among Sheet's top finds was letter from President Abraham Lincoln that reportedly sold for $15,000.**
