“Stranger Things” star Gaten Matarazzo jokingly took a dig at Timothee Chalamet’s ballet and opera comment while promoting his new movie. He posted a video in a joint Instagram post with Sean Giambrone.

The clip begins with Matarazzo saying, “Pizza Movie is an American film. It comes out on April 3, 2026.” At the same time, Giambrone enters the frame and adds that the movie is on Hulu. He continues, “It’s not in theaters, we wanted it to be in theaters, but they said ‘No!’” As the camera starts zooming in, they begin yelling and cheering, trying to hype up the film.

Fans were quick to notice that the “Dune” actor had also promoted his then-upcoming movie, “Marty Supreme,” in a similar way — standing outdoors and yelling at the camera while announcing its release on Christmas Day. The resemblance felt uncanny, sparking conversation online.

Moreover, toward the end of the video, the Matarazzo says, “By the way, we want to be clear that we love the ballet and the opera!” This appeared to be a cheeky reference to Chalamet’s recent comment, where he said “no one really cares” about ballet and opera, which received significant backlash.
