Canadian actors Richard Harmon and Sarah Dugdale are engaged!
The 100 alum, 34, and the Virgin River star, 31, announced the happy news in a joint post on Instagram on Monday, July 20.
“Forever date your mate ❤️,” Dugdale wrote in the caption.

The couple shared several loved-up photos from throughout their relationship, including a shot of Harmon kissing Dugdale’s cheek as she smiled while holding up her left hand to flash her diamond engagement ring for the camera.
The post was set to Bonny Light Horseman’s “Deep in Love,” and was also shared on Dugdale’s Instagram Stories.

Many current and former costars of Harmon and Dugdale left congratulatory comments, including Harmon’s The 100 costars Eliza Taylor, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Zach McGowan, Luisa d’Oliveira, Erica Cerra and Sara Thompson, as well as Dugdale’s Virgin River costars Alexandra Breckenridge, Kandyse McClure, Zibby Allen, Colin Lawrence and Sara Canning.
“Awwwww this is THE BEST NEWS!!! Congrats you two ❤️🙌🔥,” Taylor commented, while McClure wrote, “Perfect. Just perfect. 😍Congratulations Sarah!!! ❤️.”

Harmon and Dugdale have known each other for more than a decade, having both appeared in the 2015 horror movie, The Hollow. However, it wasn’t until years later that the pair became a couple.

The duo made their relationship Instagram official in 2024, though they had appeared on each other’s pages in friend group photos the year prior.
Dugdale hard-launched their relationship in April 2024, sharing a photo of them admiringly locking eyes with the caption, “Happy ❤️.”
Two months later, Harmon posted a loved-up photo with Dugdale and wrote, “Thanks for all the years of friendship and all of whatever the hell we’ve been doing lately. Thank you. I love you. Stick around.”

Since then, Harmon and Dugdale have shared many snaps together on social media.
In 2024, Dugdale raved that Harmon is “the whole enchilada.” The following year, she gushed that the Final Destination Bloodlines star is her “sweet menace” and “the love of [her] life,” and noted, “Loving this man is pretty sweet ❤️.” She added that she “Couldn’t be happier ❤️.” Earlier this year in March, she wrote that she’s “lucky” to be with him.
“You’re the person who unquestionably is the most equipped to live this life with me. I love you so much,” Harmon wrote in part in a June 2025 post. Later that year in December, he wrote, “2 Around the Sun with you. Love you Dugtrio,” suggesting that their relationship officially began in December 2023. This year in June, he gushed that Dugdale is his “dreamboat.”
