It’s no secret that grocery prices have been on the rise. With the price hikes, there’s a new wave of savvy shopping taking over in hopes of shaving a few dollars off of your total at checkout.
Now, a household name and king of condiments is taking note of the lack of affordable groceries and making a big change.
Kraft Heinz To Make Price Cuts on Select Products

Kraft Heinz CEO Steve Cahillane shared with the Today Show that the company plans to cut prices on some of its products, including Maxwell House coffee.
But Cahillane noted shoppers shouldn’t expect “price drops across the board,” but rather anticipate certain brands, from Jell-O to Philadelphia Cream Cheese, to have occasionally lower prices.
In addition, Cahillane also announced that customers will notice more in-store promotions including deals on an array of Kraft Heinz products specifically at the start of each month. “At the beginning of the month is when a lot of consumers are feeling a little bit more comfortable,” Cahillane told Today. He also added that products on sale will include “the staple items” and the brands that shoppers “love.”
A specific start date for these price drops and discounts hasn’t been announced yet. Nor did the CEO list which retailers will be supporting these price cuts.
But the next time you’re at the grocery store, check if that box of Kraft Mac & Cheese is on sale and see if there’s a BOGO deal on the classic Heinz 57. Or start planning your large pantry restock around the beginning of the month for the best chance to save a buck.
