The time has come for Thirty Seconds to Mars to reveal their long-awaited surprise to fans.
Following weeks of teasing fans with anticipation, the rock band officially dropped their new single, “God’s Eye,” a long-lost track from the band’s early catalog.
What made it even more remarkable was that the song was pulled from an unreleased track recorded more than 20 years ago. It was originally supposed to be part of their second studio album, A Beautiful Lie, released in 2005.
Despite the song not being included in the second studio album, it has finally seen the light of day after the band, led by actor and frontman Jared Leto, launched their special 20th anniversary edition of the album.

Ahead of the special edition release of A Beautiful Lie, the duo dropped a preview of their new song, announcing that fans could finally hear a long-lost track from the band’s archives.
“𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚. 𝗚𝗢𝗗'𝗦 𝗘𝗬𝗘 𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗪,” the caption reads.
The Instagram update featured a new video highlighting the journey of Thirty Seconds to Mars in their early years in the music industry, to now being one of the most enduring and influential acts in the rock scene.

Moreover, “God’s Eye” offers a rare glimpse into the band’s creative era at the height of their influence, blending familiar energy with a fresh sense of rediscovery.
The comment section was packed with congratulatory messages along with fans sharing how the song evoked waves of nostalgia, reminding them of the band’s formative era.
“Leaked from the past, aimed at the future,” one wrote.
“Pure perfection! Congratulations!” a follower said.
A fan also praised Jared Leto and his brother Shannon Leto’s powerful drumming and their undeniable chemistry in creating such an amazing masterpiece.
