A description of The Parent Chat offered more information about the podcast for curious fans.

"You know her as Today’s candid third hour host," it began. "But Dylan Dreyer is also a mom of 3 boys in New York City, trying to figure out the big stuff: how to raise kind, confident, resilient kids and keep her sanity along the way. And like every parent, sometimes she needs…HELP!"

The description continued, "On The Parent Chat, Dylan calls in reinforcements—from parenting experts with big advice to fellow working moms that can help all parents feel less alone. Because parenting doesn’t come with a manual, but it can come with a group chat."

In addition to co-hosting the third hour of Today alongside Al Roker and Craig Melvin and her role as a mother, Dreyer, 44, is the co-host of the radio show Off the Rails with Roker and Sheinelle Jones. The mom of three also co-hosted a radio series, Lunch Date With Dylan and Brian, with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Brian Fichera.

Dreyer filed for divorce from Fichera in March. They had been married since 2012 and share three sons: Calvin, 8, Oliver, 6, and Russell, aka "Rusty," 4.
